Once full payment has been received, you will receive information on the arrival process including access codes and registration procedures.

Arrival

Take a deep breath – you are now in Hawaii.  The pace is slower on the Island so relax and enjoy.  Once you are here, accommodations, linens, utilities, local phone calls, parking, and the Kona Makai common facilities (tennis courts, exercise room, pool, hot tub, and barbeque) are at your disposal. 

Check In

Check in time is 2:30 PM.  If you arrive during office hours (Monday through Friday noon – 4:00 PM), your keys and check-in packet will be waiting for you at the Kona Makai office with Cindy.  Fill out the registration card, and you are on your way to the unit.

If you arrive after hours your key will be available in a lock box.  The combination to the box, as well as the combination to the electronic gate (if you arrive after 9:00 PM), will be mailed to you prior to arrival.

Check Out

Check out time is 10:00 AM in order to allow for cleaning for the next guest.  On occasional dates when another guest is not arriving to check in, a late checkout and “half day extended stay” can be arranged.

Cleaning

The condominium will have had a thorough cleaning before your arrival.  If you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay, these should be arranged at the time of reservation, and an extra charge will apply.
